Maine received it first installment of the Stimulas Package Funds this week. More people are unemployed and underemployed in the State. We still celebrate the Hope!

Black Pain and/or White Ignorance

Can you imagine Obama in a George Washington Wig on Halloween?

Shocked! Well I, for one, would like to see him in a curly white wig. But, Halloween? Too close to Election Day, you say. He is just playing the race card. But, this is not about the color of the skin. The United States is a great melting pot, anyway. So what more to represent that tradition then a dark skinned man in a curly, long, white-hair wig, dressed as the first United States President.

Black Pain is not about wanting to be white, but about pain deep in the roots of the American Soul. Soil bloodied by all races, sexes, abilities and orientations. Black Pain, runs deep in the darkness. Real Black Woman just happen to be the super-model for this kind of suffering. Woman who show great strength and stature on the outside, but are crumbling on the inside. Black Woman are misunderstood, but so are all woman. Women don’t even understand women. Women become the image of a man’s imagination, and when successful, they destroy other women.

So who is willing to stand up for the rights of the oppressed and/or suffering?

It is the sensitive soul, without gender and/or a color façade. The spirit within, that rushes to the surface and makes changes in our world. God knows, we need change in America!

Almost Always Alone on Father's Day

When I was 18 months old my Father died. I didn't even consider Father's Day, a day of Celebration. I did not have a grandfather that was in my life to guide me, and I became the mother and father to my oldest son, who also longs for a father.

Today, I celebrated Father's Day with my husband, who's father died in World War II, when he was only 3 months old. He did have a grandfather that helped raise him. He often refers to his grandfather and cites the guidance that his grandparents gave him, he was loved just like Barack Obama.

My husband has 3 son's of his own, but Father's Day was not important to him, and none of his sons called him today. He is not happy, but he realizes that he pushed them out of the nest, when they were about 12 years old. He was a strong support to his children, when they were growing up. He feels that all values are placed in a human by age 5, and a good foundation needs to be set by that age.

At about age 5, the rest of the world begins to guide a child. "It takes the whole village to raise a child."
The United States of America is a large village. Be happy that you are not alone today on Father's Day. Congratulation to the Father's who are Celebrating this day with their children.

Weather and Political Contests are both Hot and Steamy in Maine today.

I would like to focus on True Democracy. I think that the Presidential Election needs to be based on One Vote for One Voter. I can't think of the better way for the working poor, woman, gays and the invisible minorities to be heard.

Our Representative Republic still allows those with the most money to win. Sharing the wealth is vital to the future of America and World Peace. We know about the evil in the world, and that most evil is based on Greed.

I want a new Mantra for the Presidential election in 2012: One Vote for One Voter!

Human Chameleon Trusts Political Senses

We all blend into our immediate environment, from time to time. This revelation came to me when I was quite young, so I just called myself a “Human Chameleon“. My senses tell me what to do. When I try to think, I think too much, and multiple options, make it difficult for me to make a choice. So I have learned to trust my immediate senses.

Listen to your gut when you step into the voting booth, June 10. Maine Democrats have too many choices, especially in Congressional District 1.

After the trials of becoming a Delegate, at the Maine Democratic Convention, I stayed to listen to speeches. How crazy is that? But the speeches were good, and I felt strong about the future of the Maine Democratic Party.

My top three in order:
Chelli Pingree: Worked with Common Cause and has the most experience in Washington, D.C. She could easily work with the current Congressional members for change. WINNER
Adam Cote: He has the support of the Maine Veterans, and his speech was Heart Felt.
Eathan Strimling: Strong speaker, strong handshake. “Bring your values to Washington!”

Sorry, just can’t trust Tom Allen. WINNER

Tom Ledue made a gallant effort, with little recognition.

OBAMA PIE: THE RHUBARB IS DONE - Half the statistical pie goes to Hillary, but Obama eats the whole thing!

More than 18 million people voted for Hillary in the Democratic Primaries. But Obama has more Delegates. In a Representative Republic that is how it works.
Let’s make America a True Democracy, where each person’s vote has equal value.
First make the statistical pie the right flavor for Democrats.

Let’s mix up the ingredients so that we can put all the power into one pie.

At the beginning of June, the best natural organic pie is Strawberry Rhubarb Meringue!

OBAMA PIE
Ingredients for a 9 Inch Pie Shell:

2 ½ cups wild strawberries
2 ½ cups cut-up organic rhubarb
1 ¼ cup of natural organic sugar
1 teaspoon organic nutmeg
3 egg yolks beaten
5 level Tablespoons organic flour
1 ½ Tablespoons of organic butter

Meringue:

3 egg whites
6 Tablespoons of natural organic sugar
1 teaspoon organic lemon
½ teaspoon of fine sea salt

For Democrats to win the General Election in November, mix well, all the “bitter(sour) and sweet” ingredients together:
Mix rhubarb and strawberry together with 1 ¼ cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 3 egg yolks, 5 teaspoons flour, 2 Tablespoons butter. When all ingredients are equally dispersed, pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake the mixture for 10 minutes @ 450 degrees. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake until filling thickens, about 30 minutes.

Make Meringue topping about 15 to 20 minutes into the baking cycle.

To make the meringue, beat the egg whites and salt until frothy. Beat in 6 Tablespoons sugar, 1 Tablespoon at a time. Beat until the meringue is stiff and glossy and will hold a point and yet is still moist. Add one teaspoon of lemon flavoring. When the filling thickens, pile the meringue on top of the pie.

Bake 12 to 15 minutes more, until the peaks turn light brown, the same color as Obama’s skin.

As an inspirational speaker, Robert F. Kennedy, would weave, poetry and literature into his political speeches. On this day, 40 years ago, he was triumphant over Hubert Humphry in the California Primary, and delivered a Victory speech. Kennedy opposed the war in Vietnam and was dedicated to fighting poverty. He was on the trail to become the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States. How may History change if Robert F. Kennedy lived long enough to become President?
