I cried for colored fabric at age 4, so that I could sew circles. My sister painted and sewed and she knew that I really liked to make stuff too. 10 years my senior, Jackie took me around town with her. She received a scholarship to Art School when she graduated from High School, but my mother did not let her go. Miss Anne, let me take this Ceramics class, at the Nicetown Club for Boys and Girls, because my big sister was there with me.I was so young, but I kept up with everybody else.
